W. Douglass Larson (Doug) – President
Doug Larson has served as President and founder of Suntech for over thirty years. Doug has more than thirty years of commercial construction experience, and he leverages his hard knock lessons for the benefit of Suntech’s team and clients. Doug’s strong belief in the Golden Rule – treating others as you would like to be treated – has been the guiding business philosophy that has shaped Suntech over the years.
Doug is a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and also serves on the Board of Directors of TOMAGWA Health Care Ministries. He is an Associate Member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and a member of The Texas Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association.
Doug graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration.
Brad Larson – Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Brad’s primary role is to ensure that the company operates effectively and in accordance with Suntech’s core values. His background is in commercial real estate, having spent 8 years representing large corporations in real estate projects throughout the United States.
Brad is the author of two books: “Walking Through Walls: Connecting Faith and Work” and “Show Yourself a Man.” He blogs at www.bradleydlarson.com.
Brad graduated with a degree in Agricultural Economics – Real Estate and Finance Option from Texas A&M University.
Susan Martin – Senior Vice President / Senior Project Manager
Susan has been a valued member of the Suntech team since 1998. She is based in the New Braunfels office. Susan has over twenty-five years of project management experience in commercial construction. She has proudly served and built long term relationships with clients such as, AmREIT, H-E-B, ExxonMobil, Stripes/Susser, JP Morgan Chase, Carl’s Jr. Restaurant, Jack in the Box, Diamond Shamrock, Buc-ee’s, and CVS Pharmacy.
What is unique about Susan is the way she carries herself. Even when the chips are down and she has every right to be stressed, Susan is calm and collected. Using her wealth of experience, she calmly and wisely confronts problems as if they aren’t problems at all – but rather opportunities.
Susan holds a degree in Construction from Texas A&M University.
Terry Green – General Superintendent
Terry joined Suntech in 2002 and serves as VP of Field Operations. He is tasked with supporting and training our superintendents to ensure every project – and every superintendent – operates at peak performance.
No one can outwork Terry, and no one is more passionate about safety and quality control. Because of Terry’s keen eye for detail, Terry punches every Suntech project before the owner punch walk to ensure we are performing up to standard and that we are making the best use of our client’s time.
Terry has over 20 years of experience in commercial and industrial construction, and has been a licensed fuel contractor in the State of Texas for over 25 years. In addition to being certified in SWPPP, CPR, First Aid and OSHA, Terry has been a licensed underground tank tester for 27 years. His most recent projects include: CVS Pharmacy, BIG’s Farmco, Texaco Fuel Installations & Remodels, Exxon Remodels, Jack-in-the-Box, Blanco Pointe Shopping Center, JP Morgan Chase Bank, HEB fueling stations, Retail Centers, Stripes Fueling/Convenience Centers, Carl’s Jr. Restaurants, Citgo Retail Concept Center, Love’s Travel Stop, Valero and Buc-ee’s.
