Suntech opened for business on May 5, 1985. That makes us 31 years old. Looking back, we have operated through the Savings and Loan crisis, the attacks of 9/11/2001, the Great Recession, and countless other world-shaping events over the past three decades.
Suntech has limped along at times and soared as well. We have seen many highs and lows.
There is one constant, though. We have been blessed to be around great people from the very beginning. We have men and women who have their second cup of coffee in the job trailer before the rest of the world is awake. By God’s grace, we have many clients that we are proud to call friends. And then there’s the always crucial trusted subcontractors, the tradesmen who treat each job like it’s their only one.
To our team members, our clients, and our partners in the field, we thank you. We thank you for your support and your hard work. Thank you for your patience when we weren’t perfect and for sticking with Suntech. Thank you for your trust.
Though we build with bricks and sticks, it’s the people that matter. We like to say that we build grand openings. We want to build the buildings that house the businesses that bless communities. And of course, it takes great people to make that happen.
We all want to be a part of something big, something that lasts. And while it’s happened one day at a time, head down in the fast-paced work of the construction business, it appears we are – and you are – a part of something truly special.
It’s marketing 101 that you should have a promise to the market. In other words, why should anyone work with your company? Well, we could come up with a fancy answer to that question, but the God’s honest truth is that our promise to the market is that we promise to care. We promise to care about our team. We promise to care about the safety of the men on the job. And we promise to care deeply about the quality of our work. We promise to value people over profit.
So, again, we thank you. Thank you for keeping us in business for 31 years. We look forward to each day as a new opportunity to serve you through construction.
